A group of Latin American mercenaries from Brazil and Colombia was eliminated by Russian 'Sever' group forces while attempting to breach the state border near Kursk and Sumy regions. One mercenary, Gabriel Ferreira Silva from Brazil, was identified. The bodies were not recovered.
